The Origins

Raizana herbal teas (Raizana, LLC) is a family company founded in 2009 by husband and wife team Sol and Pablo.

Our inspiration for herbal wellness teas came from our mothers and grandmothers, who lovingly soothed our tummy aches and sore throats with warm herbal remedies.

Sadly, we had to admit that not all the remedies tasted so great; in fact, some of the concoctions, although effective, tasted right down nasty (sorry grandma, we’ll send flowers!)

When we had our child we naturally continued to use herbal remedies. The eureka moment came when we said to ourselves, isn’t there a way to keep the teas’ effectiveness AND improve the flavor?

Yes, we wanted to have our tea and drink it too! And like many other inventions, Raizana was born of necessity.

The Name

Raizana is a portmanteau of two Spanish words: 1) Raiz: n. root; and 2) Sanar: v. to heal; to cure.

The Mission

Our selection of herbal teas taste good and are good for you. Raizana formulates their natural loose-herb teas to combine good taste and the herbal properties that help promote good health.

Our herbal teas come from recipes that our families have used for generations, but Raizana herbal teas come with a plus: They are delicious! So enjoy and share Raizana Teas; make our family tradition yours.
